President and Principal
Bob Luchetti has over 30 years of experience
as an architect, industrial designer and educator. Robert Luchetti
Associates, Inc.was established in 1987. Clients include public
and private institutions, major corporations, civic authorities,
and individuals. Over the years he has completed successful award
winning projects (leading edge design on schedule and within budget)
in the four practice areas of the firm: Architecture, Interior
design, Industrial and Exhibit Design and Work and Learning Environment
Consulting.
He was born in San Francisco, CA and relocated to Cambridge, MA
in the early 1970's to pursue graduate studies in architecture.
He has subsequently practiced and taught in Cambridge and abroad.
He has a primary interest in international practice and education
and has considerable experience in the Middle East.

Prior Experience
Prior to establishing Robert Luchetti
Associates, Mr. Luchetti worked at a number of Boston area design
firms and was the project architect for museum, exhibit, corporate
office and performing arts and movie theater projects. Additionally,
he was the research assistant to Jose Louis Sert and Joseph Zalewski
for Housing Research, UN Committee on the Code of Human Habitat,
Ministry of Iran.
In addition to professional practice,
Mr. Luchetti has extensive teaching experience. He has served
as an assistant studio professor and teaching assistant in the
Department of Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard University
and was Assistant Professor and founding Acting Director of the
new School of Environmental Design at King Abdulaziz University
in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He has also served as an academic juror
and advisor at the MIT and Harvard Graduate School of Design and
Departments of Architecture, The Rhode Island School of Design
and the Boston Architectural Center.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental
Design, Cum Laude, from the College of Environmental Design at
the University of California at Berkeley(1971)and a Masters in
Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Cambridge,
MA (1974).
He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, The Boston
Society of Architects and the Society of Campus and University
Planners and was formerly active with The Industrial Design Society
of America, The International Facilities Management Association
and the Environmental Design Research Association.
